Adobe has confirmed that there won’t be any Flash 10.1 version for the Windows Mobile 6.5 due to API restrictions.

According to Adobe’s Antonio Flores, "We have made the tough decision to defer support for that platform until WinMo7. This is due to the fact that WinMo6.5 does not support some of the critical APIs that we need".

That said, we are pretty sure that it will be making its way to Windows Phone 7

Windows Phone 7 series continues to be a ‘question mark’ for current Windows Mobile 6.5 users. As per what is happening on twitter, it all happens to be related to OEMs:

Question: Will customers that have recently bought 6.5 handsets be able to upgrade to WP7 if their device meets minimum spec?

Answer: It’s early days yet, and that’s really for our hardware partners to think about.

Let’s wait for these early days to culminate to have a more concrete answer.

Game Development Conference (GDC) 2010 will feature sessions about development of games on the Windows Phone. Here’s what they say:

“The sessions appears as part of Microsoft’s Game Developer Day tutorials on March 9th and 10th, with much of Wednesday, March 10th dedicated to the new operating system and technical/design specifics.”
