Channel9 on Windows Phone
As the official release date of new Windows Phone market approaches, more and more developers are showing interest in WP7 app development. Sigurd, a geek has released an app that allows you to view Channel9 right on the Windows Phone 7 device.
Microsoft wants to buy WP7 success?
Microsoft will be spending somewhere between 400 million to 1 billion dollars at the launch of Windows Phone 7 launch. Microsoft will be releasing the final version of the Windows Phone 7 Developer Tools on September 16 this year that will allow the developers to recompile their apps before the relaunch of the Windows Phone Marketplace.
Microsoft is investing a lot to lure the developers to make exiting apps for Windows Phone to make them understand the platform.

Windows Phone Marketplace App Categories
Folks at Microsoft have finalized what categories of apps will be offered at the Windows Phone MarketPlace. There will be 41 categories and sub-categories in total. The developer will be asked to choose from one of the categories.
