Samsung Omnia Pro 4

Samsung has released the Omnia Pro 4 Windows Phone that will sell for around 300 Euros which unfortunately still runs Windows Mobile 6.5.3 OS. It rocks a 320x320 pixel display, 2.6-inch touchscreen, 3.2MP camera, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack and a microSD card slot. Email on Windows Phone 7

Email is something that is quickly becoming one of the most used feature on a mobile device. Email client in Windows Phone 7 is drastically different from the one found in Windows Mobile 6.x OS. I had a chance to try out a Windows Phone 7 device in person and I was pretty impressed with the slick UI. I found the email client to be pretty fast and productive. It allowed me to quickly select multiple messages at once and also let me do many actions on them like “mark as unread”, “mark as read” and so on. However, it was sad to see that there was no unified inbox support on the device. I am hoping that will be added in its future iterations. [...]

According to the folks at Tech Crunch, Microsoft will be spending around 400 million dollars on the marketing alone at the launch of Windows Phone 7. This, however, does not include the millions that has already been committed to pay for the non-recurring engineering costs that help to lower the development costs for the OEMs and handset manufactures.
