Softmaker is hands down the only suite I will ever buy again if it stays as good as it has been during the year I have had it. The 2010 versions are 100% compatible w/ MS Office and the 2008 only lacks docx .It is lightning fast even on a p4 with 500 megs of ram. will run off a usb flash drive or sd card, comes in Linux and Windows versions versions and is wine compatible [through 2008} so it can be run under Mac , the help is easier, the Presentations program supports animation and is superior to Powerpoint.
If there is a downside it lacks a few fonts I like but that is about it. i am not a big database user but the one included does everything i have asked it to do.The help is very well written for newbies or pros.
And it cost 79.95 for 3 licenses per home or business making the per copy cost $23.34 ,what’s not to like?
