Waze is the first provider of free driver-generated maps and real-time road information. Roads are dynamic and change every minute, but today’s maps and GPS devices fail to reflect this, leaving drivers in the dark as to what’s really happening on the roads right now, and how it affects a particular driver’s choice of routes to a specific destination. Waze is taking an innovative approach to address this problem, empowering drivers everywhere to share real-time driving data and build a constantly updated driving map, from the road map itself, all the way to traffic and even free available parking.
