The Nokia Lumia 900, Nokia's flagship WP handset, will arrive exclusively at AT&T on April 8. numerous sources claim the Tango handset will be available for online orders, and will reach bricks-and-mortar AT&T stores the following day. Neither Nokia nor AT&T have yet confirmed the rumors, but WPCentral says AT&T employees have leaked details of the launch date. Microsoft is ratcheting up the development process for the Windows Phone platform, announcing a partnership with Nokia and Aalto University in Finland with joint funding of $28 million. The app development program is nicknamed 'AppCampus' and will speed up the development of apps for Windows Phone, Symbian, and Series 40 devices. The program should mean more WP apps and better quality too, thanks to training in best practises and comprehensive support, not to mention funding, offered by the project. Participants in the scheme will be given business coaching to help them make their ideas more commercially viable. The Windows Phone marketplace continues to expand - it recently passed the 70,000 app mark, with 300 new apps being launched every day. Microsoft's CEO for Greater China, Simon Leung, revealed that the company plans to launch a total of 63 markets, which will please the 100,000 Windows Phone developers currently registered with Microsoft.
