LG E740 Fantasy may never be launched because the company has decided not to produce any more windows based phones. In early 2012 LG decided to focus on Android projects as a result of which development of windows based E740 was stopped. In a way it is a wise decision to cancel the launch of this phone as it seems to be an ordinary window based model and frankly speaking, even if it was launched it would not have been successful because Nokia Lumia 610 is simply far more superior than LG E740 in all aspects. LG Electronics will be launching its first Windows Phone 7 handset in September and others later in the year. The news comes from  LG representative, Ken Hong who said- “We have a deep relationship with Microsoft so expect to have a couple by the end of this year.”   This mans LG will be an early bird since Windows Phone 7 was scheduled to launch this fall. With the rumor mills becoming hot with HTC Gold, next on the list are the LG’s devices that are speculated to run Windows Phone 7. The names are LG E900 and LG C900. Following the iPhone, LG also heads its way towards an application store for Windows Mobile, Android and other OSs. The target is 33 countries but for now they are focusing only on 23 countries excluding US.
