‘Kill Switch’ to kill malicious-ware only, says MS

After iPhone and Android, the ’Kill Switch’ gets a break in the Windows Mobile 6.5. The switch is supposed to vanish your applications in Windows Mobile Marketplace on your phones remotely. The marketplace is scheduled to be uncovered with windows ‘phones’ does not seem to be that worrying, if the new statements from Microsoft are believed:

“In the vast majority of instances where an application is removed from Windows Marketplace for Mobile, users of this application will continue to be able to use these applications on their phones.â€

It goes on to even say that refunds will be made in case an application is removed from the Marketplace due to its ‘harmful behavior or unforeseen effects.’
