Low expectations for Windows Phone 7 at Mix 11′

At the developers conference at Mix 11′ Brandon Watson, Director for Windows Phone 7, addressed the ChevronWP7.

“The net result is that it [the updater tool] was putting phones in a state where they couldn’t be updated from us [Microsoft]. They could be updated, but beyond that, they would not be updatable.”

It was made clear that the conference was mainly for developers. For us users it means same all same all and no major announcements made.
