Microsoft to use Kill Switch to fight Malware
Apple and Google have already been applying kill switch to deactivate undesired applications. Now Microsoft also plans to do the same to Windows Phone 7. But Microsoft has clarified that since the OS’s apps are still in development, such kind of actions cannot be expected in the near future. Kill Switch, a feature that automatically deactivates the application will work when the user logs in to the Marketplace. The reasons for deletion of apps are still not clarified. But the company says it has taken all the necessary actions to stop entrance of malware so that stringent procedures are not required.
