1st Windows Phone device with Mango
Fujitsu might beat Nokia with this very first Mango Windows Phone 7 device this August. Microsoft is telling us that Mango will not be out till September. Japan’s Nikkei newspaper announced that Fujitsu uses Toshiba Regza T-01C phone to bring over Windows Phone 7 operating system. This adapted Regza T-01C would work well I imagine, since the it has a 4 inch screen and 12MP camera. If this is true, than new Fujitsu/Toshiba phone will have Snapdragon processor and mango update.
Fujitsu works with Toshiba these days on smartphones. Fujitsu is of course a huge phone manufacturer, but sells mainly in Japan. Recently, Bluetooth SIG and the FCC have cleared the design for the US. It would be nice to see Fujitsu smartphones running Windows Phone 7 OS as a viable option in North America and elsewhere.
