Windows Azure enters India

Windows Azure platform has been released in India. With the cloud computing popularizing itself all over the world, it is certainly a good move by Microsoft.

Rajan Anandan, MD of  Microsoft India says, ”No other company matches the flexibility and the power of choice that Microsoft provides to customers —to select how they deploy software either on premise, in the cloud, or a combination of both, and, of course, the ability to access  technology across multiple screens – viz the phone, PC and Internet.”

The Azure platform is targeted to development of Web application and services on the internet. Look more at CIOL.
