Verizon lands up at $199 with its Touch Pro 2 on 9/11
Now here’s a news straight from the horse’s mouth. It’s Verizon that’s ready to battle in the race with its version of HTC Touch Pro 2 that includes the tempting 3.5mm headphone jack. The price quoted is $199 with a $100 rebate and can get on your hands from Sep 11. Sprint and T-mobile should revise their competitive strategies for now.
The smartphone that has GPS and WiFi connectivity is available both online and in stores. The OS is still Windows Mobile 6.1 professional. The upgrad to Windows Mobile 6.5 cannot be seen until next month when the all new version gets on floors. The phone is inclusive of 288MB RAM and 512MB ROM. HTC Touch Pro 2 on a high, now available on Sprint as well
Now the Sprint HTC Touch Pro 2 gets accessible. Yes, it gets up for sale online in the US at $600 outright. A two-year contract will cost you $349.99 with a $100 rebate. Anyway, the T-mobile version has almost a same story to tell. Another Touch pro 2 lover Verizon is also set to get hands on the phone. So, let’s wait for some heavy comparisons out there.
Apart from a 3.5mm headphone jack, the the CDMA smartphone will be equipped with Windows Mobile 6.1, full QWERTY keyboard, an autofocus 3.2 MP camera and TV output. The WVGA 3.6 inch touchscreen, Straight talk technology are the other ingredients.
