There’s an update to rumors of Verizon and HTC handsets – the specs. While the HTC Whitestone is said to be equipped with 5MP auto-focus camera, HTC Mega may come with a 3MPcamera. A bit disappointment may be with the Diamond 2 that’s supposed to come with WinMo 6.1;looking less tempting as against WinMo 6.5 on the Mega. Turning now to processor, Mega has Qualcomm 7225 528 MHz while the XV6975 gets a Qualcomm 7600 @ 528MHz. Both the smartphones are gossiped to have gpsOne, GSM and 256MB RAM. AT&T Touch Diamond 2 coded as ‘Warhawk’ is making quite a news of late. Last week, we talked about the Warhawk’s ROM being leaked and now the next one is that Federal Communications Commission(FCC) got its hands on the HTC TOPA120(i.e, Diamond 2). But with the pic showing 850 and 1900 MHZ WCDMA on engadget, the ratification seems doubtful. The Warhawk is scheduled to make its debut coming August. [...]

Many of us have been struck by the brilliant looks of HTC TOUCH DIAMOND 2. The HTC DIAMOND 2 comes with Qualcomm 528MHz processor, which is the same as the one used in the old Diamond. In this post, we have enlisted the differences between HTC DIAMOND 2 and HTC DIAMOND:

• HTC DIAMOND 2 comes with 288MB RAM on board whereas the HTC DIAMOND comes with 192MB RAM. This makes a huge differences when browsing websites with lots of graphics and animations
• HTC bundled a *better* version of TOUCH FLO 3D in Diamond 2 compared to the one that comes with HTC DIAMOND
• Bigger screen in TOUCH DIAMOND 2 (3.2-inch versus 2.8-inch)
• Higher resolution in TOUCH DIAMOND 2 (*WVGA versus VGA)
• TD 2 comes with 5MP camera whereas TD comes with 3.2MP camera
