After Touch 2 and Snap, HTC Touch Diamond 2 gets an official ROM upgrade too. Of late, Vodafone made the 6.5 available for Touch Pro 2 users. If awaiting for Diamond 2’s 6.5 created boredom for you, your wait is finally over.
The European countries seem priority right now. Its available in different languages as well. The Marketplace and the enhanced browser get along the 6.5. Look for more at HTC.

WARHAWK – AT&T Diamond 2 gets FCC approval(possibly)
AT&T Touch Diamond 2 coded as ‘Warhawk’ is making quite a news of late. Last week, we talked about the Warhawk’s ROM being leaked and now the next one is that Federal Communications Commission(FCC) got its hands on the HTC TOPA120(i.e, Diamond 2). But with the pic showing 850 and 1900 MHZ WCDMA on engadget, the ratification seems doubtful.
The Warhawk is scheduled to make its debut coming August.
HTC aiming to offer a tough game: may launch 3 new handsets; one of them ratified by WiFi Alliance
Striving to be a top handset vendor, the High Tech Computer corporation(htc) may set a fire in the mob-world by launch of three handsets. This news has been casted by Solopalmari and Tweekers making it quite reliable.
One, HTC Mega, a 3G enabled device with Quarter-VGA resolution. Second, HTC Leo with Windows mobile 6.5 and an expected resemblance with HTC Touch Diamond 2. Third, a feature phone having closeness to HTC Sense and TouchFlo3D.
But as its said, its tough to keep a ‘huge’ news under wraps; yes you guessed it right. One of the HTC’s handset – HTC Leo has been put on confirmation by WiFi Alliance and is said to be termed or coded as HTC Beryl or Jade2.

HTC TOUCH DIAMOND 2 versus HTC DIAMOND – feature comparison
Many of us have been struck by the brilliant looks of HTC TOUCH DIAMOND 2. The HTC DIAMOND 2 comes with Qualcomm 528MHz processor, which is the same as the one used in the old Diamond. In this post, we have enlisted the differences between HTC DIAMOND 2 and HTC DIAMOND:
- HTC DIAMOND 2 comes with 288MB RAM on board whereas the HTC DIAMOND comes with 192MB RAM. This makes a huge differences when browsing websites with lots of graphics and animations
- HTC bundled a *better* version of TOUCH FLO 3D in Diamond 2 compared to the one that comes with HTC DIAMOND
- Bigger screen in TOUCH DIAMOND 2 (3.2-inch versus 2.8-inch)
- Higher resolution in TOUCH DIAMOND 2 (*WVGA versus VGA)
- TD 2 comes with 5MP camera whereas TD comes with 3.2MP camera

No, it is not a mirage! Although, everyone was pretty sure that Touch Pro 2 would be hitting the US shores in sometime, but nobody knew that the HTC TOUCH DIAMOND 2 would ever hit the US market.
Unfortunately, HTC TOUCH PRO 2 also becomes victim of AT&T with regards to spoiling something which is already perfect. Yes, we are talking about the keyboard, which has sadly been ruined by the AT&T.
