HTC Touch Pro 2 on a high, now available on Sprint as well

Now the Sprint HTC Touch Pro 2 gets accessible. Yes, it gets up for sale online in the US  at $600 outright. A two-year contract will cost you $349.99 with a $100 rebate. Anyway, the T-mobile version has almost  a same story to tell. Another Touch pro 2 lover Verizon is also set to get hands on the phone. So, let’s wait for some heavy comparisons out there.

Apart from a 3.5mm headphone jack, the the CDMA smartphone will be equipped with Windows Mobile 6.1, full QWERTY keyboard, an autofocus 3.2 MP camera and TV output. The WVGA 3.6 inch touchscreen, Straight talk technology are the other ingredients.

HTC to kick start the new OS on Snap, Diamond 2 and Touch 2

Now here’s a final word on the soon-to-be-equipped Windows Mobile 6.5 phones of HTC and it includes-  Touch 2, Diamond 2 and Snap.The launch is particularly for Austria, Germany and Switzerland says Lars Christian Weisswange,  HTC’s Regional Director.

ROM update will be a freeware and will be equipped with Touch Flo 3D. It is said to have alikeness with Sense UI of the HTC Hero’s Android. We are still in two minds about the carriers participation and availability of ROMs in various countries.

HTC Mega clarified as HTC Touch 2; expected to unveil on Oct 6 with WinMo 6.5

HTC Mega rumors can relax for now. The official announcement was made in Taiwan which says that Mega will be the new HTC Touch 2. The new and the first Windows Phone will be revealed somewhere near Oct 6, which corresponds with the launch of the all new OS Windows Mobile 6.5. The unveil is speculated to take place in European and Asian markets and still needs to be verified for a final word on other info like price.

Peter Chou, CEO, HTC Corporation says,”The HTC Touch2 delivers a familiar touch experience that millions of people have come to expect and rely on from HTC in their daily lives. Whether it’s making a call, checking in with a friend or simply responding to an important email, the HTC Touch2 puts you in touch and in control.”

TELUS ready to present HTC Snap and Touch Pro 2

The Canadian Telecom Co. is all set to catch its eyes on the HTC Touch Pro 2 and Snap. Both the HTC handsets come with a Qwerty keyboard and WiFi connectivity. While HTC Snap includes the inner circle feature that helps focusing on messages, Touch pro 2 comes with Straight Talk Technology and an easy conference call system. With Touch having 3.5 mm headphone jack, it seems quite a tempting smartphone.

If you enter a 3 year contract, Pro 2 comes at $249.99 while Snap’s free of charge. Without the contract, Snap comes at $399.99 and the Touch at $649.99(while the 2 year contract’s $100 less on each of the handsets.) Let’s see how is the Telus customers feedback in this regard.

The Touch Pro 2 launch by T-Mobile USA – the news hasn’t really been ‘untouched’ by the mob world..but then, its now official. The handset’s soon going to be released by one of the largest telecommunications network in US on Aug 12. Present in mocha finish, this will make its entry into US for the first time.
