We informed you about the Windows Mobile Marketplace giving chance to the devs to display their expertise. Now the latest ride in the Marketplace World was taken at a petty MS dev camp where the team declared its intentions NOT to sell their apps at a price tag below $0.99. The folks at MS feels that their devs deserve much more.

Loke Uei of the Microsoft’s Mobile Developer Experience Team even went on to say: "It’s up to you play your pricing, but we would definitely want to promote that you make more money selling applications than selling your application in a dollar store.”

The winners in the Race to Market Challenge have quite interesting offers, so a tough battle here. Anyway, the price should match its utility after all. Let’s wait for the final showcase.

Look’s like folks at Microsoft are doing the SWOT analysis of late because they have become very serious with their competitor’s strategy. The giant which displayed losses this financial year, is pretty much going in for some serious strategy development. The rumor is from the Taiwan Mobile Market that indicates Oct 1 as launch date of Windows Mobile 6.5 while mid of Q1 of 2010,i.e., Feb as the release date of Windows Mobile 7.

The MS may battle with Android first by releasing the 6.5 version at a cheaper rate in Oct while targeting the iPhone-based platform in Feb by introducing Windows Mobile 7. The strategy may be out of blue for many, but Microsoft’s actions will determine the real word.

The Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 R2 version is here to help all those who do a lot of conferencing stuff. The app that’s quite alike to its desktop version is being launched for Java-enabled and WinMo phones.

Now you can enter into conference with just a single button – Join conference. The app will get in sync with your today’s screen and will let you know the status of your conversations.Another feature on the app helps you avoid logging on the network you don’t want to enter into;thus, helping you save money on that.

The software has even updated its Call via work feature, that automatically connects you to the incoming call on your mob-cum-extension telephone. So get your hands on the app by downloading it from here and revert back with your reviews.
