Samsung Omnia 2 and Windows Mobile 6.5, better and balmy

Now here’s a video below by ai.rs blog showing the Samsung Omnia 2 running the Touchwiz interface and the new OS- Windows Mobile 6.5. The 6.5 looks improved on the Samsung with some of its critical appraisal carefully looked after. Samsung is in for some smart job here.

Ballmer’s view on critics, Windows Mobile 6.5, iPhone and Blackberry

Here’s a video by Gizmodo showing what does the MS head Steve Ballmer has to say about the new OS Windows Mobile 6.5, that wasn’t given much ado by the critics.

Ballmer seemed quite hopeful and assertive about the current and prospective OSs, Zune about competition with iPhone and Blackberry. Peek into the video here for more.

HTC HD2 is one phone that’s high on carrier demand. Now Orange is ready to spot the HD2 in Romania. The device is not having the new OS- Windows Mobile 6.5 currently, but is speculated to get on the floors by the end of 2009.

With Windows Mobile phones being one of the hot favorites in the Romania mobile world, Orange is expecting some serious business.

Catch AT&T Tilt 2 online and in-stores

AT&T’s version of HTC Tilt 2 is now on sale online. The cost is $300 after rebate($50) for a 2-yr agreement. Its the new OS Windows Mobile 6.5 that runs on it.  The phone will price you $499 without any engagement with the carrier.

But the AT&T has to watch over its competitors like T-Mobile, Sprint and others. The AT&T’s Tilt 2 can be found here.

The new OS Windows Mobile 6.5 gets on the Toshiba TG01 too. With MY Phone and Marketplace being the usual buddies, the upgrade as we know is free.
