AT&T’s version of HTC Tilt 2 is now on sale online. The cost is $300 after rebate($50) for a 2-yr agreement. Its the new OS Windows Mobile 6.5 that runs on it.  The phone will price you $499 without any engagement with the carrier.

Now here’s a news straight from the horse’s mouth. It’s Verizon that’s ready to battle in the race with its version of HTC Touch Pro 2 that includes the tempting 3.5mm headphone jack. The price quoted is $199 with a $100 rebate and can get on your hands from Sep 11. Sprint and T-mobile should revise their competitive strategies for now.

The smartphone that has GPS and WiFi connectivity is available both online and in stores. The OS is still Windows Mobile 6.1 professional. The upgrad to  Windows Mobile 6.5 cannot be seen until next month when the all new version gets on floors. The phone is inclusive of 288MB RAM and 512MB ROM. Now the Sprint HTC Touch Pro 2 gets accessible. Yes, it gets up for sale online in the US  at $600 outright. A two-year contract will cost you $349.99 with a $100 rebate. Anyway, the T-mobile version has almost  a same story to tell. Another Touch pro 2 lover Verizon is also set to get hands on the phone. So, let’s wait for some heavy comparisons out there.

Now, another carrier that is set to carry the HTC Touch Pro 2 is Verizon Wireless; that has rushed with quite a number of release this year. The HTC Touch Pro 2 is speculated at a price of $199.99 with a mandatory 2-year contract and a $100 mail-in-rebate.

The second week of Sep will see the unveil and the date is set to be Sep 11. The tempting 3.5mm headphone jack is also present in the Verizon version. Since the Windows Mobile 6.5 gets on the floors in Oct, patience is the key here. The cost of the handset sets a tough game to its counterparts like Sprint and T-Mobile.
