Windows Mobile devices have unlimited capabilities. They do not have a closed OS like the one found on iPhone/iPod Touch. That is why so many companies come with innovative applications for Windows Mobile everyday. Here is another application called WinMobile Torrent, which is a torrent client for Windows Mobile devices. WinMobile Torrent is an advanced but user-friendly torrent client for Windows Mobile Pocket PC that allows you to create, leech and/or seed torrent files. It supports multiple and simultaneous torrent downloads with numerous functions to manage and control your torrents. wmTorrent was first released in July 2005 as the first torrent client for Windows Mobile Professional/Classic/Standard. WinMobile Torrent requires an Internet connected device. It does not initiate any Internet connection. It works with WiFi, CDMA, GPRS, EDGE, 3G and almost any network that provides Internet connection. A free, 5-day trial can be downloaded, or wmTorrent can be purchased for US$25.00 from www.wmTorrent.com

According to this article, Dell is in talks with the China Mobile to launch its first smartphone in China. Although, it is not a new news/rumor of Dell getting into the smartphone business, but we always thought they would targeting US market in first place and not China. I hope Dell is well acquainted with the zillion mobile-phone designs that can be found in China. They will have to come with something that stands out from the Cheapo $80 phones. Also, since the Dell is targeting a Asian market, it would make more sense to come out with a device with resistive screen and not capacitive like the iPhone as the Asians prefer to use the stylus for data entry (try entering Chinese characters via fingers on a capacitive screen and you will understand what I mean). Most of the online rumors are pointing towards a Windows Mobile device. Windows Mobile platform is not new to Dell as their now-retired Axim line used to use Windows Mobile.
