PrimeTube is a Windows Phone 7 YouTube client app which emulates the look and feel of the Windows Phone Metro interface. amongst the features are Search for Videos, Filter and Sort results, Like/Dislike videos, and comment functionality. Videos, playlists or authors can all be pinned to give live tile support for instant access. Videos can be shared via social networks, email or SMS. The app also lets users create playlists and manage subscriptions. PrimeTube offers multi-region support and supports fast-app switching. The developers behind the app, Applyf, state that PrimeTube adheres to YouTube’s Terms of Service agreement and that the app will be updated to keep pace with API changes on the world’s biggest video site. An upgrade to PrimeTube is already in development, featuring support for video capture and direct uploading, upload queue management (with background uploads and notifications), and lists of live events. And perhaps the best feature of PrimeTube is that it’s free to download and free of ads too.

Microsoft developed and built the Windows Phone 7 from ground up and they did a really fantastic job to reboot and improve the mobile OS. Of course, there is room for improvement for 2011 but for now; we can only assume that everyone is hearing us out with what we want for the Windows Phone 7. More speed. WP7 is absolutely fast within the OS capacity but app speed still needs to be consistent. Some apps work efficiently but other still lag. The applications need not always be extremely complex in design as long as it offers robust design. This will help us manage the speed really well. Landscape keyboard when using IE! It sucks that you have to move around just to type at the address bar, which you cannot access when in landscape mode. Tap to top functionality. We all have long lists of emails and we have tons of tweets and messages to read. Once we are done, the sad part is that we need to slide back all the way to the top. If there is the tap to top setting, it would take less time to get back to the top. Screen shots. It would be more functional if we can have a screen shots. The Android has this feature and web OS and iOS use this feature as well. Why not have it on Windows Phone 7? App for YouTube! We already have Twitter and Facebook and they are solid for the WP7. It would be best if we can have an app that is really dedicated for a more intuitive and solid multimedia experience. This would be a great addition that you will surely love. Intuitive call answering. In the present setup of the WP7, you have to unlock the phone and click on answer. Those two steps already seem too much for a phone that should function as a phone. Memory card friendly! The phone should be more easily compatible with Micro SD cards and memory cards in general. The OS should be fixed with better data management features. Many would like to have added memory using cards since they are more practical. Ring tones that we can love listening to. Default tones are dated and they feel too formal. Many love custom ring tones. If the phone can be customized with new message and call tones, then it would be much more enjoyable to answer the phone or even check your messages. Customization of the home screen! Windows Phone 7 is designed with simplicity as its finest strengths. If Microsoft tweaks the home screen and makes use of existing applications like the Pictures app to customize the phone screen and let users control the number of apps they see, then it will make the phone experience more personal. The internet browser! The current one is not that bad but it has issues with JavaScript. Aside from that, it still feels like something for a desktop. It should be used optimally for phones and not just borrowed software from their big cousins. Via everythingwm
